    on my way back from vegas, via santa fe and amarillo, i will likely be driving through dallas and spending the night there. my wife and i are picking up my mother's new to her 456mgta and making the drive. should arrive on wednesday sep 13.
    dont know where i will be staying yet, but depending on timing, it might be an opportunity to get together with some fchatters for drinks or dinner.

    we might be able to get something together Wednesday night, I will be headed up to Oklahoma Thursday and Friday. North Dallas has the highest volume of Ferrari guys and restaurants, I'm over by DFW and plenty of hotel/dinner options here too.

    Depending on what type of food you and your wife would consider, there is a fantastic Italian restaurant ( Il Calabrese Ristorante ) off 114 in Southlake.

    If you want something quaint by way of Italian food, there is Cafe Italia in Grapevine. It's the closest that I have found to a mom-and-pop joint in DFW area. The best part of the deal, you can bring your own bottle of wine or two, and there is no corkage fee!
