installing 360 modena steering wheel on a 355, will airbags still work?

    I've read that the 360 steering wheel does fit on the 355 with no problems. But I was wondering if the airbag system will still work. Does anyone have experience with this swap?

    Here's the info I found:

    "Give Kurt a call at Rosso Corsa in FL. 1-561-747-2407

    He has had the 360 wheel on a 355 and he said it will fit just fine. I dont know what Beverly Hills was thinking, maybe just didn't know it would fit and a easy answer is "no".
    But give Kurt a call he can inform you on this. I do know he has a 360 wheel and airbag for sale might be able to get it for a good price.

    If the airbag plug is the same then it will/should work,Be very careful with the spiral cable also called the clockspring assy.This is the cable assy that positively connects the steering wheel airbag into the system.come to think of it,if you are just doing a straight swap then this wont be an issue,never mind.most airbag system plugs are similar and the internal resistance of the components is also similar so I dont see a problem,but dont quote me on it.by the way,I used to do deployed airbag system repairs and am fairly knowledgeable in this area.
    also be aware that some airbags have connectors that lock together in such a way that the plug is destroyed when trying to disconnect them.This is to discourage tampering or using used components.only some have this.
