    hello-
ferrari newbie here -- I've searched for answers on this topic cannot find as yet. I took off my stock starfish on my 2002 360 spider f1 i order to install some hre 3 piece i refurbished , but the is a bolt head and a bolt with a 'pin' on it sticking out of the face of the hub/rotor, which are in the way and don't allow installation of the hre's -- can i simply take these off and the rotor will be held by the lug bolts? or what do i do?

Its a guide I would just remove it. Your bolts hold it on

Pick up a couple of threaded stud wheel hangers sold by several on FChat. Makes it easy to install the wheels and they are then removed after you get a couple of wheel bolts installed.

They do until you remove the wheel. Be careful that the rotor doesn’t fall out once the wheel is removed and if you remove pads or caliper. That said, it’s unlikely to happen.

Most cars don't have them so no need to worry
