    Hello all,

I am installing new triple seals in my 355. I have installed one new seal but during the process of installing it the seal seams to have streached. It fits losely around the drive shaft. I warmed the seal slightly in hot (not boiling but hot) water before installing it. The seal did not seem more pliable when hot then when at room temperature. I used only my fingers to put the seal on.

Is this normal? What am I missing.

    Thanks

    David

They will always stretch some. once they are on put some thin cardboard (old fast food drink cups) around them and put a couple rubber bands around it. They don't feel like they would but they do "compress" back down to size
