Anyone knows if the instrument cluster in F430 can be removed and dismantled? There is a nasty mould in there that needs to be removed. Checked with factory and they said its not covered under warrenty.

    Thanks in advance!

Russo- Your instrument panel is very similar to the 360 panel. If you do a search in the 360/430 Forum under "yellow tachometer", there are instructions on how to pull a 360 panel so the tachometer overlay can be exchanged for a yellow one. 430 removal should be very similar.

If this is the spider web looking tracks on the face of the gauges it is not mold but grease from assembly. there is a factory bulletin regarding this and it is easily cleaned up and it is claimable under warranty.

If the mold was caused by a leak, it should be covered by your auto comprehensive insurance coverage...

    Hi,

I have the same issue on my F430, some sort of traces like snow around the counters.
Can you tell me if really it is just grease, so it would be possible to clean it? Can the plastic glass can be removed to clean it?
    Someone already did it?
