Trying to get insurance for the TR... In Florida, my regular car insurance has to cover the car for 10 days after purchase, even if they actually don't insure Ferraris.. However, after that I'll need a insurance that will cover the car.. I tried Hagerty, but they want basically a perfect driving records but I had 2 tickets in '03 (one of them was under and the other one over 15 mph over the limit)... no tickets since and before that ever.....
What are my options? Where would be the best place to get insurance?

Thanks in advance for the answers

I pay $800 every six months for my Ferrari 348 and my CLK430....Geico, I would never change from them. When I hit a deer in my Bimmer, they handled it like pro's, same with when a possum cracked the front bumper of my Ferrari. They are by far the best insurance company I have ever had, and the best priced as well...No mileage restrictions on the Ferrari either.

    Oliver,

Get in touch with Parish-Heacock www.parishheacock.com. I have my insurance through them, I use them for my 89 328 GTS.

I pay Met Life $800 per year for full coverage on my 348 Spider.

They want your business, especially if you have a life insurance policy through them.

No limits on mileage or business use, either.

    I would also recommend Parish-Heacock.
I am using them for my entire "collection" - per say.
My Corvette, Ferrari, Chevelle, and Jaguar are insured by them.
My other cars (drivers) are insured through a local California company.

Tried a online quote with both Geico and Met Life and Ferraris don't show up in the selection...

EDIT: Called Met Life and they don't insure Ferraris..
