Best I could come up with was Allstate at $680 per 6 months.
Had to have home owners thro same company to get this rate.
This is standard full insurance with no milage limitations and my zip is down town Charlotte.
PM me if you would like the # of the broker

I pay about $1200 on three cars, 348, Escalade, SLK 230, with USAA. But you have to be a vet!

I'm in Charlotte, use Amica (which have ALWAYS been very good to me) and they're charging me $941/year on my old 2000 BMW 740i !!

So you're saying Allstate covers your '03 360 for only $400 more?!
Jeez, I might be lookin' at that 360 sooner than I'd planned!

I've been avoiding the purchase due as much or more to cyclical fees as purchase price. Dayum!

When you say "typical" coverage, are we talking "150/300" with $1k deductable here?

    Cheers,
    Chuck

    Yup

    150/300 plus un/under insured with 1k deductable

Believe it or not the same coverage on my sport bikes costs close to $2k per year each. Not with Allstate as they wanted closer to $2500.

    WOW!
    I'm impressed!
I think it's time I called Amica and said "what's up?!" as I have 4 cars currently on my policy, plus my home-owners.

I'd hate to leave them as they have always been super to work with (and pay dividends @ the end of the year) but man, sounds like I could save some tire money here by doing some shopping.
    :)

    Thanks for the info!

With USAA, my 355 is $150 more per year than my 2001 Audi allroad, which is worth about 19k.

    USAA is absolutely the best.

    Thanks Russell,

are you getting the multi car discount, or do you only have that Ferrari on your policy ??? Either way fair deal i guess. I will contact you soon when i'm ready to move back to the East Coast.

I was told USAA doesn't write exotics/classics..they referred me to a specialty company in Cherry Hill, NJ...who were more expensive than Hagerty. I have homeowners with USAA, but even their regular car insurance was more than AIG.

Hagerty charges me a little over $600 per year, but there are limitations. I would gladly pay $1000 for a no limits policy.
