Thanks for the infos. What are these "large independent regional brokerage firm?" What keywords should I google to find them? Could you please provide some examples? Good suggestion. I indeed have a garage and another registered car that can be used as daily driver. I called my current insurance, Geico, and they gave me a quote of around $2100/6months based on a used FF. They wouldn't do "agreed value" and will only use value of the car as new. Geico's cap on vehicle value is $150K but they would not use $150K when I asked.
Condon Skelly. 2007 430 Spider. Agreed value of $160k. 500k/500k/500k limits. $500 deductible. No winter layup here in NY. $1600 per year.
Try "insurance broker near me". While we don't know all the details needed to truly say so, $4200 per year seems high. You will want to place all your coverages with the same carrier and get an umbrella policy too.
32Yrs Old, State Farm, $500 deductible, about $1100/6 months. I remove collision coverage in the winter as my car gets stored in the garage.
Hi Don, It's for limited mileage. Like 2500-3000 per year or something like that. For me it's perfect since between my two Fcars I don't put that much on either one anyhow. You also must have a garage to store your car and proof of other daily driver cars. It will be a bit cheaper for lower limits and a winter layup. High limits are the way to go though. You should call them. I saved a few guys in our area a lot of money with them
I recently picked up a 2007 F430, and insurance was something I was initially concerned about. I am located in NJ and insured with Liberty Mutual. I had my homeowners and 2 Mercedes SUVs already on a policy. Adding the F430 coverage costs me no more than if I was to add a new BMW 5-series. I do have to say I was very pleased, having expected to pay a lot more Voy
Just renewed my Grundy policy with no issues, same cost as last year. $150K agreed value, $1660/ year. 2007 F430.
Allstate. Full coverage at $1388 per year with a $1000 deductible... But I have seven other vehicles on the policy.
Ken458 ... I believe length of relationship has a lot to do with it. My rate with State Farm is even better. Zip code also plays a part. We're outside Portland. They stuck with me on my 275GTB for 37 years...no questions but did limit mileage to 7500 and listed as second car. Good info everyone..thx 360 is the next 275GTB
