I just bought my 1976 308 and the company taht insures my house/cars etc doesn't want. I have another car on an antique policy but the usage is too limited. Anyone know a good company for reasonable usage at reasonable price?

Well we can't tell much from a blank profile, but congrats on the car.

I add all my Ferraris on the same carrier as my speedboat, renter's and car and truck policies, as A CAR. I know, hard to believe......

I'd pull ALL your business and walk across the street to another company.
I tire of taking a bunch of cr@pola from these bozos....

    Walk 'em I say....

I have my '64 330 2+2 with Hagerty insurance agency. I've been very pleased with them, especially compared to the last "classic" insurer I used when I had a '69 vette.

Since a 308 is a much newer car you might be able to get agreed value and full use coverage at standard rates through a regular carrier, rather than having to go thru a specialty classic insurer.

There are many discussions on Ferrarichat about insurance. A quick search will provide you with much information. Being new, searching is your best friend!

Nice gentle nudge. I think that's the kindest anyone here has been in months to someone who brings up a repeat topic.

You get my vote for post of the month.

While we can often get annoyed by repeat topics, there can be value in them. As more people join the board, and as those already on the board gain additional experiences, we may have new information that could not have been passed along had the topic not been repeated.

As an example, I searched thoroughly for insurance information last year before deciding on who to insure my F-car with. Since then I found that Middlesex Insurance would insure it for $1011 less than my previous insurer. The only requirements were that it couldn't be my daily driver and they wanted my house and umbrella policies with them too, but for $1011 back in my pocket, I was more than willing to comply.
