Anyone ever change out the two intake filters on the front left and right side of a 308. Just curious if its necessary and whats involved. Too my knowledge the ones on my car have never been changed and the manuel says to change every 6 months. Thanks , Danny
Change them. Remove the spare tyre well and you'll see the heaters. Use window ac filter material you can get at any hardware store. Once you see the heaters, you'll see how to remove the covers. Easy job.
Agree, but my filter had never been changed and crumbled into a rubber dirt, not goo. A shop vac with the narrow head made the job easier. You are tying to IMPROVE air flow after all. stephen
