Does anyone know if the intake manifolds (the runner tubes, not the plenum) be interchanged between carb, 2V FI and 3.2 QV? I am talking about fitting on the head, not the function. I am asking because I am working on a custom intake setup for an 81 GTSi, and I am not sure which version intakes I want to use as a baseline to start with.

    Thanks for any help.

I believe the 2-valve heads (carb & i) are the same as regards to the intake interface (pattern & angle) -- photos here from Pizzaman Chris of the 308 carb mainfolds mouned on 308i-2V heads:

The 4-valve head intake pattern and angle are quite different from the 2-valve head intake pattern and angle.
