    Roel,

it was a 993 (911) race car.............I noticed a sponsors decal from VT if I recall correctly. Looked like it had been built in CA somewhere, all the roll cages, seats etc etc were covered in bubble wrap and freshly painted.

Excellent looking car. I remember when the driver called me, just before it was delivered. He was 35 miles north of town and although he made it quickly, it seemed like an eternity. Congrats on the new arrival!!!

    Bruce,

the drivers were gerry and Lynn...........very nice people!!

Thanks to evrybody else for their kind words.

Just ordered some pedals and a new shift gate from Ricambi (Daniel). That will give me something to mess with until the snow clears.

    Chas -

Look like the pedals will arrive today (I just checked the tracking number).

When you drill into the accelerator pedal, you might want to put a little maskng tape on the base of the pedal where it goes into that plastic housing. It'll keep any metal bits from dropping into the abyss of throttle linkage.

Grab thy carbide bits and have some fun !

You got her at last!!! Congradualtions!!! As everyone here says, " brings back those unforgetable memories of that first delivery"
    Car sure looks beautiful!
Don't feel bad on the reverse deal, It made a huge sceen in my neighborhood as the truck pulled up, people started filling the streets. Innercity lowered the car, the driver said " drive it into ytour garge for inspection" I got in and tried reverse, nothing, again, nothing, nervously looking around confused, tried on more time, accidently pushed down in my effort to get it in reverse, and she went into gear. I took a huge deep sigh, said to myelf thank GOD, as there was at least 15 people standing, watching!
Looks like you did well, she looks to be perfect condition! You lucky dog, thanks for all the pics!!! Has that damn snow melted yet????
