I can't help thinking that that nose is going to make a great ramp to launch a car in the event of an incident!

or to spear into the back end of a car going into turn one on the first lab. it’s a joke whoever came up with new nose rule.

Audio is basically an electric drum loop with two guitar chords played over and over like a video game.

Ted gives another reason why the nose has lowered, safety.

Also of interest is that Red Bull have designed the standard side pods for all the teams.

That comment jumped out at me too. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense though. They may know the cooling requirements for their Renault lump, but surely not for the others? Then there's the all important 'packaging' for the aero. Newey may be good, but I'd bet the others want to do their own thing here.

I'm not saying he's mistaken, but maybe 'overstated' exactly what they're all getting from RB? Maybe the 'specs' for them so they can pass the tests? But surely not their shape?

    Cheers,
    Ian

That's what I thought as well. Maybe basic design and material specs. Surely the cars can't all have identical side pods.

Yes well, it seems it is a restricted area of design so I'am not sure how much they can change the overall shapes of the inlet, however rest assured it will suit the Redbull car engines.
