Every day someone parks a Ferrari outside my office window. Usually a 599 or 458 (although there was a yellow Scud at times). Well today it was this 612, so for once I went down to check it out (what with the 612 being my favourite Ferrari).

It would be interesting to know if there is a GTO in the stable at home too - and more importantly, is the owner an F-Chatter?

This 612 had loads of great touches, British Union Jacks next to the yellow wing shields, initials engraved into chrome door handles and also stitched in to the head rests. I wish I had taken better pictures, but 1) I was using the iPhone, and 2) it's not my car so I felt a bit silly taking photos of it!!

However, what I found REALLY interesting was the red leather dash with a massive emblem stitched in the passenger side, which reads:

    "Presented to: SYSTEM 3
    The Official Partner of:"

    Followed by the 60 logo.

Surely it must be a very special customer who gets this stitched in to their dash by Ferrari??!!

Well System 3 are an English company who create the official Ferrari computer games:

    http://www.ferrari-system3.com/#/uk/home/

And their founder is an certified Ferrari nut who has raced in the Ferrari Mille Miglia and Challenge series. In fact an initial look over the website suggests that the vehicles he owns are presented in the game in his colours!

And if he is reading this, then a thank you for parking various Ferraris outside the office everyday - brightens up our day no end!

someone photoshopped that (or a similar) scheme onto the new California, and it looked great. I think there is an original California wearing the same pattern.

I'm surprised no one has made it into reality yet.

Sadly I have the memory of a sieve, but I'll check if it's parked outside again.

    Usually it's the 458 however.

It's amazing. You'd think a red and black Ferrari with bright red diamond finished seats and dash would be gaudy, but itjust looks awesome. The level of personalised detail on this one was spectacular!
