Love that red stripe inside...wonder what that costs.

 

Also love it... Judging by how much Ferrari normally charges for carbon fiber, it costs way more than it should. Aston Martin actually offers things like this for relatively reasonable prices, I wish Ferrari would offer more things like this as normal upgrades.

 

we had a 2-color stripe put on our CF wheel via Extra Campionario, it was $1200 and quite nicely done.

our experience is some requests are surprisingly cheap (compared to what we feared), and some are a bit over the top. IF you are interested in things like this, it pays (pun intended) to do it either at the Atelier in Italy, or by working with the NYC FNA atelier, both to get what you want and also to be part of the discussion about the cost (we've asked for things people never asked for before, apparently)

 

In those pics the stripes almost look like reflections. But a cool idea.

We recently customized a 599 factory carbon wheel and part of the project was to add the 12 o'clock stripe in yellow. If someone wanted other details such as the red stripe we could do that as well. We're usually less than the factory! But then it would be done after the car has been built. The 599 project also included adding yellow stitching, carbon bottom, carbon 'pods' and refinishing the factory carbon center plate. Those center plates tend to pit and become rather nasty. I'll be posting a full write up of the teardown and rebuild process later this week in the 599 and 430 sections.
