It has the GT/R rear bumper and wing but are the intakes supposed to be that color? They kind of looks like old BMW V12's covered in baked oil.
Actually it has the SV-R CF rear bumper....it laso has SV-R air scopes on the front. The rear wings appears to be after market, but does resemble a GT-R wing, it is NOT an SV-R wing. It has SV-R side skirts and what appears to be 94 SE front air skirt. Looks to have 6.0 black power coated wheels. Has SV rear air screens. Aftermarket mega exhsaust tips. After market front lower driving lights. The motor valve covers, gold in color were normally reserved for the 94 SE motor as well as the 2001 6.0 SE moto. If I were to place a good guess, I would say it is a 1996-97 Diablo that someone is attempting to make look like a SV-R GT-R ??
This car is actually a 1991 Diablo RWD model with several customized SVR/GTR cosmetic modifications. Roy you are correct about the 1994 SE style front air skirt in addition to the 2001 6.0 SE painted valve covers. The wheels are SV style painted black in additon to the exterior paint which is a custom color. The interior has been completely reworked featuring a purple/dark gray interior with orange stitching. The dash, seats, console, shift knob and steering wheel are all finished in alcantara. The car has a true straight pipe exhuast with no cats or muffler. It is by far the loudest Diablo I have ever heard. The start-up sequence when you turn the ignition key will frighten most people. The owner will most likely track the car but it does have registration and plates and; therefore, street legal.
DAM, we got to get it next to MY SV-R, it also is just straight pipes...ALSO titled and street legal. People JUMP 5 feet back when it starts as well... That would make a GREAT sound clip... DUALING DIABLOS!!!
If you know the owner...I have a FULL set of TRUE SV-R light wheels in stock if he can use them....will have to change the drive to SPLINE one lug...
Question? Does the rear bumper serve an aerodynamic purpose? That would be the only reason to add I could see, to add something so so ungainly to the car. If it does, all the better. Darrell.
