    bonham's monaco auction had a 246gt auction (00406) and it sold for 130k euros = 149,5500 euros with comission = $230k

    the car is a 246 , but has a 206 engine

    Yeah thats messed up when guys are paying that much and the engines don't match. Buyers are paying big bucks for recreations or rebodied Bizzarrini's. When I hear that stuff it makes me think back to soccer moms trading stock before the dot.com bust or real estate loans with nothing down. If you own a car and have thought about selling it now is the time ! Take the money and run.
