Serial number doesn't match up with the year. Something is wrong. Suspect it is a modified 328..... Art
Why would someone want to ruin, I'm sure, a perfectly good 328 GTS for something like that. The seats in that car probably cost more then anything else, besides the motor. It looks like George Jetson should be driving around in that thing. Seriously, someone has to much time on their hands and too much money. I could have bought a couple of lambo's and 1 or 2 Ferrari's with all the money that was spent on that blob!!!!
From EBay description. Nothing hidden here. It's a modifed Ferrari. Price seems high, but who knows what the market will bear Vehicle Description Fantastic and Unique Ferrari Conciso, build by Michalak. Build as a prototype-show car this is a one off car. This very exclusive Ferrari is based on a 328GTS. It has been displayed at the frankfurt autoshow (1993) and the Geneva autoshow (1994). This car is for sale again after being in possecion of a US car collector and a Belgian Collector for the past years. Even if I had the money and time, I could not and would not do that to a beautiful 328 GTS. How could they?
I can't tell if the black things are eyes or nostrils. Definitely something only a mother could love. Image Unavailable, Please Login
It isn't ,and it's an insult to Ferrari! 160K bones to start; they've got to be kidding. It should have been left bodied as a 328. Most kit cars/replicas are better than that monstrosity!
I like it because its different. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it, and drive it around. Who else would have one besides you? Its been professionally done and it was on the show circuit. I think its a very unique car, with a bit of history to it as well..kinda like an early P4/5.
I think I was at that show. I looked at my pictures and that car wasnt at the Ferrari booth or the Pininfarina booth. Probably nothing to do with being an official Ferrari show car/prototype...ect.. Then again I might have been there in 1993. its hard to remember and would have to post my pcitures from that show for someone else to identify the year.
I'm more interested in the two VINs in the auction. The pictures provided show that the car is clearly a 328 (confirmed by Google). But the VIN listed is for a Mondial (as per Google). I wonder how the two were confused.
Oh do pay attention Carbon! There is a photograph of the VIN plate in the ad (ZFFWA20B000080962). EBay's VIN system doesn't like non-US VINs so the advertiser has put a random US VIN in that box. Happens a lot when Euro cars are advertised on EBay. Jonathan
It has been for sale since at least 2004. There is even a scale model of the car. It also looks like someone had it in their recreation room on display. Personally I think it would be a very unique item to have. It appears to be very well constructed. As a one-off concept car that has documented auto show history and enough recognition to warrant a scale model, I think it would be worth quite a bit to the right collector.
