    hey guys,
    This website is slightly controversial.

    http://www.lambounfall.de/indexe.html

if you scroll to the very end, ull see the post of the latest Lamborghini crash in Dubai which resulted in the death of the driver.

No disrespect intended but this is very old news. They do seem pretty adamant that parts are breaking but I don't know if they have ever made any progress with there case.

This web site has been posted many times before. And while the latest crash might be a Lamborghini, no where in the article does it state that it is one.

Ive heard stories about people saying the VT system can fail and in effect end up locking the front wheels. I believe this is a rare case and definitely isnt 100% for sure, but I guess it could be possible. This guy makes it more of a conspiracy theory against lambo though.

The guy is a moron all I hear is someone complaining about the fact he wrecked his lamborghini and needs to take out his anger on the company so he goes and commisions the site.

I can find anything bad about any car thats a fact. Camaro's have been unfaithful to some owners including myself and you don't see me bashing the camaro brand.

This guy justs needs to stfu and get a damn life!.

This is not a random issue

Even veteran Lamborghini Guru George Evans or Evans Automotive has seen his share. As I have posted on every thread in which this website comes up, I removed my VT system at the urging of George. We were talking about headers and he told me he has seen fractured bearings in the transmission, seized diffs, burned up visous couplings and told me to remove the system. I always found the system "clunky" but wanted to keep it as it's quite good in the rain....yes, I drive my car in the rain...daily driver.

So, I would say there is "something" to the stories...but I'm not going to be the one to find out. :)

Oh, the car drives fantastic without the system...so much better without it.

HAHA Shamile, It was actually your story I was thinking of from over on LP that I was referring to in my post! I agree, its a possibility, but there is no reason to be a test subject!

Oh, I do remember how..."not so fast" you were going when that cop pulled in right behind you around the Lake Mary area. :D :D

Well, it's just your post was very harsh. You made it sound like this "non-issue" is just due to bad driving.

Oh, Kevin2772....it really is a small world isn't it. :)

Well the driver is what can make or break a car.

Even Rakjoe himself said those wheels where terrible and I couldn't agree more that the wheels on that Lambo where indeed cheesey and probably came from APC or one of the ricer brands and shouldn't have been put on a Lambo in the first place.

If he blames the car for his crash i'am going to go all out and blame him for stupidity.

What about the early Diablos and the later 94+ VT's, is it the same do you think?

Pantera, in all honesty I dont think its very fair to call the guy stupid just because he has aftermarket wheels on his Murcielago. We dont even know the chap and what if his case is 100% genuine? He could easily have been killed looking at the car.

    Dear Lamborghinisti,

"Early cars" refer to the 91-93 Diablo...2wd no VT

94-01 VT's use the same diff and drive shaft

    SV's are 2wd...no VT

Murci's are VT with the drive shaft in a torque tube to minimize vibration. I don't know if the actual front diff is the same.

Sorry to say that but do you know the driver or anybody who has been involved in that case?
