I am interested in what others have for License Plate Frames. Mine is not at all exciting and not even where I bought the car. Ferrari & Maserati of Washington DC
Mine is an ad for a local dive boat operation. "Warm Water Sucks - www.montereyexpress.com" They're a good bunch of guys, and besides - it's red, black and white and goes well with the car...
Pacific Grove (lovers point) is my favorite places in the world to dive and for those who have never been...it's pretty cold water!
Mine says " Yeah, yeah, I know, license and registration". I haven't been pulled over since puting it on and hope I don't!
I had "TICKT ME" plates (not frames) on my Porsche. I did get pulled over a few times but never ticketed. It was always good for a chuckle. I did get tired of people asking, "What's TICK TIME?"
I'm looking for a 60s era Algar frame if anyone knows where one might be available..... Thanks! (and now back to our regularly scheduled thread) Jack
Another AZ F355 has the frame "I'm not speeding, I'm qualifying" on it. Its the only way I can tell the cars apart at meets.
Never seen it, but I think it would be funny on a Ferrari: "Don't laugh, it's paid for." Something you usually see on a junker car, but on a Ferrari it would be amusing because some people see an expensive car and think that guy must be in debt up to his eyeballs.
Don't most of those one-off frames have engraved plastic inserts like they use on a desk name plates and boat circuit breakers?
