. 308 GT4 FRONT SUSPENSION Measured the height of my front suspension from my Lift to the bottom of the control arms. I have blocks of wood that fit this height closest to the wheel. Lift the car up pull the wheels remove the upper C-arm, shock, and upright. The C-arm is in the total sagging position. I try and lift up on the arm and it is immediately met by resistance and springs back down by the bushing torsion. Which to me means the entire suspension was installed from the factory in this full Sag position and then tightened. Not with the weight of the car and spring in a static position. So basically when tightened and the weight of the car put on the suspension the bushings are affecting comp and rebound by the bushings being already wound in the upward ( meaning wanting to spring away from the car) direction. Shouldn't the sus be in the center of torsion of the bushings? When I did my rears A few years ago I took the measurement took it apart and when I reassembled I set it on the blocks and retourqued the C-arms. Make sense? Mike
