    Not sure where I first heard this but I thought it was an interesting question. I have used it quite a bit and am always surprised by the variety of answers.

    Here's the question, what would your answer be?

    If you could spend two weeks in someome else's shoes, who would it be and why?

    Bill Gates----- Why? To be able to have the feeling of never, ever having to worry about money. To be able to buy ANYTHING you want, not buying it but just knowing you can. I think that would be an awesome feeling. I'm sure he worries about his company and stuff, but from the money standpoint--It would be a great 2 weeks.

    I think I like my shoes just fine...but if anyone with a Ferrari wants to trade for a day, Ill be more than happy to share! Please be willing to accept a good 300+ more miles on your car in the next 24 hours :)

    See what I mean. All the unique answers. Nick Lachey though? Might be fun for a little while.

    I always thought I'd like to try one of the U.S. founding fathers or early Presidents. Imagine the fear and rush they must have felt starting a whole new country! Or how about Abraham Lincoln when he abolished slavery. He had to know he was making one of the most important decisions in the history of our country.

    The best answer I ever heard from someone else was from a young lady who said she wanted to live in her friends shoes for two weeks. Her friend had become a full-time caregiver for her son who was injured in an accident. She wanted to give her friend a break from the constant worry, stress, and work and see if she could get back her smile.

    If I had two weeks in another person's shoes, well.

    Well, that person would be God.

    On the realistic side, I would want to be Salma Hayek for two weeks, complete with an endless supply of batteries, a full length mirror and a digicam with enough memory cards to fill the ass end of a '58 Buick.

    Oh yeah, and 50 gallons of Astroglide Solo.

    This is a tough one. I think I'll name a few.

    Obviously some rich guy so I can drive cars like a crazy man. But on a more serious note...

    One would have to be Ceasar at the high point of his rule. Oh to be there at the moment where he was crowned dictator for life.

    I'd want to be an enron exec in the final 2 weeks before it all came down. I love a good challenge. To be in the board room trying to prep for that downfall. Talk about an intellectual adrenaline rush.

    Lastly to be one of the lead scientists the week leading up to the first successful A bomb test. To know that what you are doing could change history. To see that blast from the first successful test and know, that you, if only for a moment, have just decided the fate of this war and possibly many wars to come. For better or for worst, you don't know, but all that matters is now and that you are responsible for it. I can only imagine all the thoughts and feelings that came over them when they saw it worked. Ahhhh I'm getting sucked into deep thought!

    In all seriousness, Bruce, you have a very keen outlook on life and you and i share some similar personality traits, but you have far more experience in life than i do and i think it would be really special to see everyday life through your eyes for two weeks... i'd love to have the concentration and knack and know-how and balls to make big dollar split decisions on the spot while my wife is on hold, there's a dog barking in the background, my ex-wife is on line two, i'm hungry and haven't eaten all day and i have to call ten people back within the next two minutes and no one's around to pack these batteries into boxes except me... That kind of ability comes with a different level of responsibility that really molds someone's character, both in and out of the office and i can't help but admire that...


    ...make sure it's Cherry Coke in the cans... :)
