    Thanks for the link.
This article it's quite interesting if you don't know the PF story, but taking a look in the details it's full of holes and clichès.... and Battista Farina never designed a car.
Behind the most famous italian coachbuilder brand there were a lot of designers: Giovanni Savonuzzi, Franco Martinengo, Tom Tjaarda, Aldo Brovarone and so on.

True, but the amazing thing about that in the Pininfarina case is that somehow all these designers were speaking the same language. There is a consistency in what they produced, I suppose up until the day that Fioravanti left. After that, the so-recognisable Pf-style seems to have disappeared.

I agree, because the "old man" had a terrific sense of the proportions and of the style. Unfortunately the "new generation" had not it enough. In any case we have to say also that the car style is completely changed at the beginning of the CAD era, so we'll never see the curved lines of the '60s again. Today the PF is just a badge and this is terribly sad....

Yes, I agree the article is full of holes, but the progression of those designs is pretty cool to look at. It really is too bad that PF's best days seem to be gone, but I'll always keep looking for that resurgence...

Me too Mario, but the answer is the same as usual: money.

Not so sure it has much to do with money.

The design-language at PF has changed, or rather, was lost, and they speak some form of gibberish now.

Yes, but you know the production ceased 4 years ago, because financial problems, and today PF is just a design company....
