Found this pic of Schumi's steering wheel.
There are series of thin plates bolted between the steering wheel and the hub. The plates look to be about 3-4 mm thick and I count at least 5 of them. Presumably, adding or subtracting these plates gets the steering wheel "just" where Michael likes it. Note the seemingly very small bolts that are used to hold on the steering wheel.

    Perfection anyone?

That's not slack on the part of the belt that you fit tight. That's the excess part of the belt that comes through the metal buckle. Believe me, they tighten those suckers so tight you can't breathe.

It was also refreshing to see that the cam lock is in the correct place (the groin area). Go to any SCCA, NASA, Grand Am Cup race and about 75% of the drivers have the cam lock located at or above the belt line. Very dangerous and can cause major injuries in that location.

Yeah, it was more a joke than anything since I couldn't add the the thread. I took a few turns at the wheel of a stock car when I was 17 and the belts weren't tight enough. {They were tight enough for me to be uncomfortable, but not tight enough to hold on to me}. I felt like it was going to throw off my mojo being so tight, but when I went through the first turn I wished they were tighter. Damn near choked me out with all the sliding I did.
