I just picked up an interesting book of facts that has an awful lot of stuff in it that could prove useful at a bar.......It has the top ten of a massive amount of subjects. Just remember that this book was published in 2000 so any new records to fall will not be listed in it.

    Things such as:

    1. Countries most in debt. Mexico--$167,743,000,000
2.First British solo artist to have a no.1 single in the US
Mr. Acker Bilk // Stranger on the Shore , May 26, 1962
    3. Highest scoring Scrabble words 164/162
QUARTZY (i) Play across a triple-word-score (red) square with the Z on a double-letter-score (light blue) square.
(ii) Play across two double-word-score (pink) squares with Q and Y on pink squares.
    4. Most expensive toys ever sold at auction by Christies East, New York.
"The Charles" a fire-hose-reel made by George Brown and Co.,c.1875.
Sold in December 1991 for $231,000.
    5. First electrocution at Sing-Sing. Harris A. Smiler, age 32, July 7, 1891.

Now, can anyone answer this one?

    Heaviest carnivore......

    Wettest inhabited place....

2nd American holder of the land speed record. Date, vehicle, location and speed.

First official holder of the land speed record....hint---not an American..

Country with most traffic deaths---death rate per 100,000 population.

Like I said, these could be good at a bar to win a few beers.........

Heaviest carnivore? Blue whale. Unless it has to be on ground, then it may be a polar bear.

Wettest inhabited place? Tuvalu! These atolls are about to disappear under the level of the ocean. Can't get any wetter! :D

Country with most traffic deaths? India, maybe. No idea of the rate.

Bangladesh, although Monaco/MonteCarlo must rank up there.

    Botswana.

Yeah, I googled it up :D (sources respectively wikipedia and overpopulation.com) ;)

BTW, if you accept the the elephant seal, you have to accept the blue whale as a carnivore ... it eats skroll = tiny fishes = meat. :)

This is cool, keep the questions coming. I'll get one right, eventually

PS - Silver is supposed to be the safest color. No clue about the 9 following. :)
