My dealer tells me my build will be delayed if I want all the interior carbon fibre options I've chosen. I can get the driving zone and console bridge but the air vent surrounds will be unavailable on early builds.

    Anyone else hearing this?

When I asked about speccing mine, the message was: if you want your car early then keep it simple.

So funny imagine how Mini or JLR can produce 10,000s of cars a year with much more spec options and tell you within days when delivery occurs.

There is really no excuse at all other then "we can".

MAC no better my LT came with wrong wheels as had "run out".

No CF Air Vent surrounds is a big issue for most I would imagine.

Indeed! I put pretty much everything in CF in the interiors that if I have to take out the vents it will ruin the whole build!

Thanks for the replies. I don't want a half CF interior, so I'll wait.

Not sure about UK cars but they were hoping to deliver my car in the first week of December. That would mean an October build. Not happening now of course but that's what they told me. Sounds unlikely, I know.

My dealer (UK) has no reason to mislead me eg to manage my own expectations and is hoping for client cars Feb/April 2018 depending on spec.

If I was Enzo's grandson, they would sort the effing carbon fibre air vents and get me my Christmas present on time! :)

No, I was just getting the first customer car in South Australia.

There are already RHD 812's seen testing outside the factory. So customer cars shouldn't be that far away....?

I am in Taiwan and have full carbon interior and no delays that I am aware of. Build date is December car should arrive in Feb-March. I also requested for alcantara seats and interior but was told it would push the date back 6 months which I passed

Keep us posted with this as I was not expecting US cars to start being deliver before June 2018!

Is this for a US spec car? Sept build so Oct delivery in the US?

If it starts on time as a September production it will probably arrive mid November. It is a North American spec car. I know of two others (one a Canadian dealer the other a US customer) who have also been told they are supposed to have a NA 812 in September production. Mine shows status 10 but has not gone red.

Apparently the cars with this code in the spec will be delayed:

    CISK
    CEXD
    CERB
    FCWS
    CEAI
    CITZ
    CILR

that's what they told me just yesterday so if I dont want any delay in my delivery I have sadly to remove CISK and CILR in my actual spec, not a big deal, just a bit disappointed.

Just talked with my dealer, they expect mine to start production any day for a November delivery. I mentioned to him the rumors about no cars to arrive until next year and he was adamant this wasn't the case. I will post once i get confirmation production has started.

I would be also really annoyed.. one question, if it's "only" carbon parts, they cannot have those parts changed when available?

Of course you can but I guess you will just pay the full price of the spare parts and you wont have them in the spec list in the plate on your car.

I don't think they will hold with normal part to change them when available...what they told me is that cars with those items will be delayed until they will get those back in stock.
That is happening in Italy at this time, so I gave them my final spec because apparently now everything is moving back to normal and I might get my allocation before summer next year!

The only carbon option in my spec is the CARBON FIBRE STEERING WHEEL.

I received my ferrari login today, and the car is at the paintwork stage.
