Anyone have leads on finding original color codes? I'm restoring Chassis 18497 (365GT4 2+2). Exterior is Rosso Nearco. Interior appears beige but having trouble finding codes. I was planning on using carpet color code 73 which is Beige. Any way to confirm factory delivery colors?

    Good day Kevin,

All I have on chassis 18497 is the following:

    ..Production Date: 4-28-1975
    ..Exterior Color: Rosso Nearco 2.664.032
    ..Interior: Pelle Beige VM 3234

Finding the paint codes could be very challenging. With my car (18775) the color was "blu Tourbillon"... and tried every avenue and no one had the paint codes or equivalents. I ended up going through various paint code books at the paint shop and found a very, very close match (almost identical) based upon an untouched/unmolested paint area just under the front signal light assembly (the assembly covers a lip that was factory painted).

I did find a post a while back that does list "Rosso Nearco" from Italver. Attached is the info and color pic of it. Hopefully this will help you in your search.

Best of luck with your paint code search! Also, create a thread on the car and post up pics if you can.

    Cheers,

    Sam

i dont think ferrari listed a code for the carpet.
leather code would be a Connolly code.

Note that the Connolly leather code VM 3234 refers to the lighter beige, "Sabbia" or sand.

Thanks everyone. Very helpful Sam with the paint code info. Edwards suggestion that there is no carpet code seems to fit my research.

A rudimentary search seems to indicate that Connolly VM 3234 is "Luxan Beige" however this is much darker than the leather on my 365. Looking at the unworn, sun protected leather between the rear seats, the original leather is a much lighter, almost off white beige which fits with David's suggestion of Sabbia/Sand. Ferrari codes are definitely confusing.
