I wanted to get some LiquidLeather mixed to do some refreshening of seat bolsters in my '94 348. The car is Blu Sera 504/C with Blu interior. The extremely friendly chap at Liquid Leather :D says that Ferrari did 3 different interior blues and without a code he "can't help m8".

Before I get the blues myself, can anyone tell me where I can find the interior colour code?

The picture shows the colour fairly accurately (as well as the watertightness of a GTS after a stop at a beer garden during the German summer)

I don't think I've ever seen a list of interior color codes, if they can be found on the car.

However, if you send a small sample (~20-25mm square) of your seat lether to leatherique (www.leatherique.com), they will custom match a dye to it. Best place to get a sample is from the excess under the seat where the light hasn't faded it.

For more about leatherique, search the current & old fchat archives for 'leatherique'.

Thanks for your reply, even if it confirms the worst!

Yeah, it seems like I'll have to do that. The Liquid Leather guy said the same thing but, to be honest, if you saw his set up, you'd have doubts about ever seeing that colour patch or your special order ever again!

Also, they don't exactly have spectrometers in the 'garage' to do the matching so it's going to be a trial and error. I just thought that there must be some way of officially ordering bits (for example from the factory) without having to cut off bits of the car and put them in the post!

    Thanks for now
