    Morning all

Can anyone give some hints and tips on how to remove the interior door handles. I want to upgrade the speakers in my car and was following a guide on here.

It said, unscrew and pull the handle off, but it's really stuck on there, ideally would prefer not to destroy it (110gbp at eurospares).

    Thanks!

It does really just pull off after you have removed the set screw.

However, it's a splined connection and they can get really stuck if they haven't been removed in a while. You can spray some penetrant through the hole where the screw was and let it sit for a little while. Then try pulling and wiggling back and forth a bit. When it comes off it will probably let go all at once and you will punch yourself in the face with it.

When reassembling use a little anti-sieze on the splines to make it easier next time.

Thanks all, finally got it off, undamaged. Used a little bit of heat to try and soften the plastic enough to be able to pull off, it took far more force than i was confortable with tbh.

Not helped by it being disgustingly sticky on the inside.
