Interior Door Panel Clip

Take the white clip out, measure the diameter of the "cap" and the length of the shaft.

You can find similar ones on amazon. They are called fir tree clips

 

My solution ended up being to buy the Dorman Lock Rod Clip 75473 (sold at Autozone) and use the gray one. I had to drill out the metal bracket so that it would fit. A couple pictures shown. Don't forget the lube!

Yes, that was exactly what I broke and needed to repair. We’ve now got a part number...are they actually available anywhere?

Edit: I see they are available from suppliers. Will get the real thing next time I put in an order!

Google searches seem to link it to the Fiat/Lancia part (P/N 14573280) , but these clips don't seem to be for the door rods, but rather wiring looms.

Tried a few of the US suppliers. None had it in stock, and the one I tried to order it through said they couldn't be had anywhere.

Just ordered it through italricambi.nl. Thanks for linking to that site! A bit painful paying $35 in shipping for a $1 part, but I guess I'm still getting used to that reality. Went ahead and ordered a couple extras--I've at least learned that much.
