    Hi all.

My old Vitaloni interior mirror finally it's not holding in place any more. The inner steel retainer on the windshield mount is broken. Any solution for that?

I'm asking because I haven't found any answer to it.
I'm thinking about building a new retainer with magnets, but I don't want to modify the original mount.

    Many thanks for your help.

That retainer base is the same as the Lancia MonteCarlo/Scorpion, Porche 914, Ferrari 348 and 328.
The pic below is my extra one for my Lancia Scorpion.

I would take it to a windshield shop. They have to move the retainer whenever they replace a windshield.

If you can successfully remove the old base without breaking please let me know how you did it as I need to remove one off of my spare windshield.

    Hi Mike.

I have to dig on it, try to find the support and the adhesive here in Europe, and after that I will look about installing it. I will let you know what I will be doing.

Many thanks for all your great help!
