I've had a chance to sit in a couple 355's. A bit tight, but since I'm over 6'5 that's to be expected.

How does the 348 compare on leg room and just overall interior space vs the 355?

Well actually the 348 has 3 1/2 inch more leg room.

Due to the lack of hair dryer behind the back seat...:D:D:D

The cars are identical in their basic body and interior layout, although the 355 does have a cutout underneath the center console which gives the effect of being more spacious.

I know the interior dimensions are roughly the same but I have never been able to fit in a 348. Relax 348 owners, I love the car too. Do any 348s have adjustable steering columns? My problem was fitting my legs under the wheel. At 6’5” I am able to get in and drive, with relative comfort, my 355. With a little gymnastics I can even fit with a helmet for track days. Not pretty but I am in the car. For what it is worth both the 360 and 430 are more comfortable for those of us unfortunate enough to be over 6’.

My 348 has an adustable up/down steering column. I've also used a steering wheel spacer (Hill makes them) to push the steering wheel out. Finally the 360 Challenge steering wheel that has a flat bottom gives you more leg space.
