Interior smell...

    I have noticed that my 348 has a very special smell/odur, and I have noticed that some of the others Ferraris I have been looking at had the same interior smell..Its not a BAD smell, to me it has become the "ferrari smell", and I would regonize it anywhere. Its strongest when the car have been sitting for a day or 2 without running.

    Hard to describe, "Breakes/clutch/hotengine"-smell I think


    Does anybody know what I mean? and what excact causes this smell...

    .... and its not me wetting my pants, everytime I get in my Ferrari...although that WAS possible...lol...

    Its very simple = machinery and leather. There's not many places where you get pure examples of each, but I smell it everytime I walk past my laundry room, which is adjacent to the very aromatic garage.

    I had to ask, to be sure its normal....

    but I love the smell too, there is nothing like it! And to me it has become a part of getting ready to enjoy the car.

    I have my 348 locked in a garage all week long. When I open the garage door on Saturday morning, the smell of Italian leather is incredible!
