Anyone have any suggestions on what works well to great to touch up areas of the interior where sticky removal took off to much paint?
Specifically I need to touch up the inner handles and locks as well as the window switch. It’s very minor and I’d prefer to not disassemble those and paint them fully.
    Thanks in advance.

I had a small scratch in my lock not near the printed “lock” and when my interior guy was here he spot sprayed it, but this guy is an artist. So it can be done. But I think you need some skills to do it.

There is a product called I believe "bumper black" that was used a lot in the 1980's on vehicles that had rubber bumpers

It did a great job of covering scratches

That might work on some interior plastic parts to hide scratches

You looking to spray or paint parts still in the car? Not disassembled?

More just touch up the little bits showing through on the handles, lock and left window switch. They’re barely noticeable and not worth the hassle of removing them at this time.

I would use Qtips to apply on small areas

Then you don't have to worry about overspray

I had a 1984 733i, and it worked wonders on the rear rubber bumper portion.
