I saw one of these Intermeccanica Indras parked in Beverly Hills a few years back, very mint condition, near the annual Rodeo Drive Concours but not in the show itself. It seems like the build quality was better than the Italia, but I didn't see under the hood. Anyway my question is:

Didn't they use an Opel engine? Or was it a 327 Chevy engine from the Opel Diplomat so it was jsut called an Opel engine. Are they considered Italo-German cars rather than Italian-American cars like the Italias?

Does anybody know offhand how many were built--coupe and convertible?
I met Reisner once who told me the whole sad story of moving his operation to San Bernardino to qualify for start up funds but then the venture fell through while he had cars waiting at the port.

Are these cars experiencing a price rise or really lost in the sands of time?
