There are many Intermeccanica cars around, usually Italias, two seater open cars with either Ford 289, 302 or Chrysler engines. Far fewer Omega coupes which had the inadequate 273 cu. in Chrysler engine (interestingly the chief engineer at that point was Mark Donohue). But the one I haven't read about much is the Murena, (sp?) That was a wagon with a big ol' 429 Ford. I have seen a burgandy maroon one around LA, I think it's owned by a famous yoga master, Bickram Chowdrey (sp?). There may be only 11 of those. But more rare and I don't know if it survived is one of the last Italias, I think it is called the LXM, or LMX and it had little nose canards or some other type of added on aero trim. Did that car ever make it stateside? The Intermeccanica company survived in Canada where they make Porsche Speed replicas. But aside from moral support I don't think they make parts for the cars they made decades ago in Italy. The founder, Frank Reisner , died some years ago and his widow and sons run the works.
