    86 328 with 30,000 miles was running fine, then started running on 7 cylinders a few days ago. When pushed, all 8 will fire but once rpm drops goes back to 7. Any ideas.

    Burned through plug extender or a broken plug lead.

    Change plug and test extender while you are there. If it continues suspect wire or cap.

    Same thing happened to me on my car,ended up being two faulty rear bank leads..
    Replaced them all and it ran like a dream.
