Also check their schedule for various seminars. I believe that there is even one in regard as how to wrap yourself up before you go racing so that you do not crack your ribs from the force when turning fast....

Actually, yes it does. There is a seminar about that on Saturday, February 24th., from Noon until 1:00PM. The seminar is called: "Get your body ready for Racing". Presented by: Jim Leo, from "PitFit Training". I am sure that it will cover that.

This Kart Expo is mainly geared towards Racing Go Karts and Kart Racing. And it is an "International" show, featuring Karts, Products, Etc....from all over the country and the world. IMHO, something that you won't want to miss if you are in to Karting in any regard. From the occassional participant or beginner to world class racer.

My son is going to start Kart Racing this year.

Again, check out the website: www.e-kmi.com for details, seminars, vendors, etc...

Hello all! O.K., we set up our booth today (Friday Feb. 23rd.) at the International Kart Expo. I got just a few pix of some of the stuff that is there, but it is unreal! I cannot believe all of the different Racing Karts, Parts, Accessories, Clothes, Helmets, Everything! Way more than what I was imagining! And from all over the world! Many Karts from Italy. There's an Electronic steering wheel that keeps track of your lap times, speeds, etc...pretty cool!

Anyway, it is this Saturday the 24th., and Sunday the 25th. at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel and Convention Center on Meacham Rd., just South of Algonquin Rd. (RT.62) If you know where the IKEA is, it is just North across I-90. Free Parking. Opens to the Public both days at noon, I believe. But you can check the website that I've already listed in previous posts here.

Here are a couple of pix just to give you an inkling as to what is there. (Sorry...a few might be a tad out of focus. My battery was dying and I was trying to get in as many as could.)

But as of the time that I took these pix, not even 1/4 of the literally hundreds of vendors were there and set up yet. So, it looks like it will be really cool. Check it out if you have nothing to do this weekend. I believe that admission for Adults is $8.00

A picture of our booth first....:)

Nice meeting you too! Yes, it was quite overwhelming! I had no idea that the Kart Racing world was so HUGE! I have some more pix from there that I'll post, including some Big Boy Cars that look like they'd be alot of fun to play with....:)

But I made many great connections there, including a guy who is a son from the Bacardi Rum Empire that owns a Kart Track Center down in Florida, and a big Distributor from Australia, and one of the principles at the Autobahn Country Club who is also interested in my Karts....WOW! I am starting to wonder what I got myself in to here!....:) But it certainly looks like it's going to be alot of Fun, that's for sure!

O.K. here are a few more pix from the Kart Expo. To start out with, a few Big Boy Toys, that will actually fit me! Some Kewl Karts....Some cool Helmets.... A "Michael Schumacher" racing suit ...(Not real, ofcourse!) Some neato Racing simulators... Some Tire Dressing by some guy who isn't my Uncle....:) Enjoy!
