    Hi everyone,

Looking for some specific insight re: buying a F-car internationally (I live in the US and buying from the UK).

    1. Has anyone used CARS (https://www.carseurope.net/) for international transport and would you recommend them?

    2. Has anyone purchased from The Octane Collection in England (https://www.theoctanecollection.com/) and/or can recommend them?

Just doing some due diligence to get honest feedback from the F-chat community.

    Appreciate it greatly,
    Bill

CARS are the most reputable European based transporter company I can think of.
They move absurdly valuable stuff regularly (250 GTO, F1 GTR etc etc), I've no doubt your car would be in safe hands.

Octane are a really good bunch of guys, Lucas particularly is a top shelf bloke and their cars seem great.
I've been involved with the UK car dealer scene for a number of years and I've not heard anyone speak badly of them (while I can name you a BUNCH of other dealers that I HAVE heard bad things about...)

Go for it, if it's the car you want CARS will do a great job of transporting and Octane are fantastic.

Thank you very much for the feedback. Everything I've experienced with them so far has been highly professional, however, getting confirmation from this community certainly helps to ease my mind.

Both blue chip names in the UK. Dealers and transporters don’t get any better. However, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t still take due care. Even blue chips can drop things, and a first time customer never has that much leverage.
