Intersport Motorsports in McLean VA???

Seemed to have a certain car I may be interested in but wanted to get a vibe on them before I cold called them. Any info to dish? Or anybody had a good experience that they can recommend a certain salesman? I'm ready to buy tomorrow...it's the 2003 red/tan F360 Modena. Any stories or history on that car that anyone knows of?

I'm a couple doors down from them. Mainly a Porsche shop with some Audis and MBenz. Haven't had any dealings with them but Aston Martin of Tysons 1 block away also has 2004 360.

They have an awesome rep' doing mods (best in the area) and routine maintainence & repair. Highly regarded by my Porsche Club comrades. Not sure about car sales.

 

....I read somewhere and heard from a friend who knows someone who had a good but bad dealing with them.....

so much wasted space and time to post /read comments if there is no actual experience...I dont get it. perhaps it is an attempt to make one feel he is a valuable contributor to the forum... so annoying

 

I've had a few things done through Intersport. Wheels mounted and balanced, GT2 decklid and wing painted and installed. My experience with them has been great, with very fair prices. No experience with their sales dept., but Omar and his crew are well liked/respected amongst the pcar guys, as Holmy pointed out.

So it seems the consensus amongst the group is that they are a fairly decent autogroup.

just a generalistic statement intended for anyone posting that doesnt have any backing to what they have to post. i used to take my 993 there when i had it. they do good work, but i got totally screwed on one job so i stopped going there.

 

so they told me they did the last major service themselves. would you be hesitant about the quality of the work done?

Last time I took my car to Intersport for non-warranty work I didn't see any cars for sale. When did they start doing that? I saw 10-15 cars on the website.
