    I initially thought it was a bit niave of him to make such a pledge because surely it makes future contract negotiations more difficult for him? I then started thinking and tried to work out if there are any F1 world Champions who only drove for 1 team throughout their career. Actually I've just thought. Did Jim Clark only drive for Lotus in F1? Think I've answered my own question.

    I would say it's a "ok ish" thing to say right now, but things can change quickly in this sport.

    Jenson Button paid the price for sticking to one team, admirable but!! On the other hand FA would have been sitting pretty moving from Renault to Mclaren albeit for LH.

    If it ain't broke why fix it, I'm sure Mclaren can continue to provide him the car to be a Multi -WDC winner.

    It's actually warming up again Steve. For a few days there, though, he might almost have been able to drive over an ornamental pond in Scotland ;)
