    "No one is indispensable".

Sergio will find out himself the meaning of those words.

I think as time goes by we will come to appreciate di Montezemolo's Ferrari era even more.

LdM is a believer in his employees. When he gave a speech at Stanford a few years ago, he suggested we all take the chance with the employees we already have and invest in them, rather than treating them as commodities for trading.

Not surprised he clashes with Marchionne.

I saw that presentation at Stanford. Not only was he charismatic and inspiring his intelligence and passion concerning the Brand was clear. Definitely worth looking up on YouTube for those who missed it.

I loved that speech. For a man of which English is a second language I thought he did very well... "No one is indispensable". A good boss IMHO never lets his employees get a whiff of this. What goes around comes around.
