Gentlemen, I have newly acquired s/n 12015. The car is a survivor and I look forward to caring for this one for a long time. I have a few questions for the community and seek help. 1. I believe the fabric under the hood has been replaced. I would like to see an example of original correct material under the engine hood. 2. I have the toolkit and jack but am missing a few items. I would like to know the length of the 3 screwdrivers required for the kit. 3. If anyone has information regarding this car feel free to contact me. I am going to try and trace back its history. The car is an original Canadian car and is still here and now under my care. Thank you in advance for your responses. Sam Image Unavailable, Please Login
Congratulation Sam, I had feeling that one was going to find it's way to your stable. I had a close look at it yesterday morning looks great.
Beyond Agurri ! Enjoy it in in good long health ! The car should be honored to have you as an owner, it's in the correct hands. We need a celebratory lunch in short order.

WOW that is really beautiful! I've never seen a blue/blue Queen Mother, but damn it looks fantastic!! The Borranis really set the car off.
Marcel: Thanks for the information. This is very helpful in starting the research on the car. Thanks to all the kind words on this thread. I will post more pictures as soon as I get the car. We are fitting it with new XWX tires. The current ones are very old but have lots of tread. Sam

I am glad to see that your taillight surrounds still have the original, matte pebble finish on the top and bottom bands. Be extremely careful when washing the car that you do not polish that finish off!
Thanks for the heads up Brian. These days I am extra frugal and careful with water when I wash my cars. I am lucky that this car seems to be a survivor with what I think is only one respray and an original interior. I will start looking around trying to research the history of the vehicle. Sam
