I am a friend of Robin360, not (yet) very familiar with the language. I am not (yet) a Ferrari owner, but I enjoy everyday learning how to drive "properly" a S2K. I met some of you in the Zandvoort FCN track day. It was a very unique occasion (I still have the song of all your engines in my ears + some specific exhausts from an other solar system). I will post pictures of this event on the dedicated topic. It is not the subject, but the Ferrari chat is maybe the best place to mention that one of the first thing I noticed in Holland is how much Dutch people appreciate sport's cars comparatively to the "diesel politic" of my country, and how much you love sharing your passion (and I remember very well a way from Noordwijk to Amsterdam with a Ferrari's owner one year ago ). I used to live in Paris for few years, so if I can help for anything (restaurant, road, tunnel ... or "La vallée de Chevreuse") ... (I hope it was the right place for this topic)

As I have seen more Ferraris than S2K in Holland, I started thinking that: - the S2K is a sport's car - people are scared by 4 cyl., even if it's the more powerful of the Universe. Only 650 bhp could be fun for the S2K, but my friend has still some problems with his tuned one in UK. The risk is not for your tires Robin (and you work enough on it), but for your F1 gb ! But I can not refuse your generous offer ! ... I am kidding, now you can relax. When the 430's keys will be on my hands (and the beauty not too far), I will accept it. I hope see you soon too ... Welcome to FerrariChat Helene. I can see you have good taste in cars, the S2K is a great car. And i can know it, because i own one for more than 7 years now , and it still makes me smile when i rev that engine to 9200RPM Which colorcombo is yours? Mine is black with red interior. I hope you'll get that F430 soon, the F430 is also my dreamcar, but i don't think i will sell the S2K, i'll try to keep it, they'll make a great pair i think Best regards, Guy

Mine is full black, lowered (it is modified a bit the behaviour of the chassis, I think it is better to keep it standard). Did you participated to the European meeting in Italian Alps (Trentino) with the japanese designer of the S2K ? We were 227 stupid owners of S2K from all the European countries, even from Estonia, during 4 days. Hi Helene There are even more S2k drivers here . My dad owns a grey/red S2k from 01, its a very nice, reliable and pretty affordable car. Never drove a car in this class with a handling and engine like the S2k, getting it to 9000rpm is still great fun . To bad Honda isnt planning for a replacement (S4000 should be cool ) Best regards, Rudy

Normally i would have been @ the Deil meeting with the S2K, but i was offered a passengerseat in the 328GTS of my good friend Alexander (alx355gt on this site) Hopefully that meeting will happen sometime. Great color, you know what they say: once you go black you never go back Unfortunately i couldn't participate in the Euromeet in Italy I'm currently too busy building my new house, and i try to do as many things as possible by myself, so i can save up for .... that Ferrari The Euromeet really was a bad timing for me, and i'll regret it probably for the rest of my life. I know a few other people who went and they all said it was awesome! I plan to do a trip like that on my own, but it'll be something for next summer when the house is finished. You're going for the F450? Very cool! Also keeping the S2K? Remember what Shigeru Uehara said in his speech: "Please take good care of your S2000, keep it by your side for long and enjoy it from the bottom of your heart. ..... so that the legend of the S2000 will continue for long." Welcome on this board Helene The S2000 is truly a great car, although it misses the Italian touch I was happy to experience the capabilities of this car on several occasions as a passenger in Guy's car.
