    Hi Everyone,
Normally I am on the ferrarichat 360 threads as I have a 360 Modena but I thought I would introduce myself here. I have a CPL(for fun only), started flying when I was 16. Tonnes of different ratings.

Searched here for anything on an aircraft which I helped fund the development- the 750XL.

Found nothing so I have attached this link... [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ckNlsQGjfrc[/ame]

There are other just as good clips of it too. Performance is just amazing. Runs a PT6A-34, payload just below 2,000kg, TO roll(ISA) 721 ft, landing 543 ft, can land on anything.

    What do you think?

Looks like a great plane for the mission. Competitive market area and turbines are X the costs, but looks like a winner. Do you have a RG family fast cruiser model?

Looks like a real workhorse. Must be fun to be involved in a project like that. I'd love it.

    Hi Rob,

I only now have convertible notes in the company, nothing to do with them operationally...

That said, no RG, but they have an exec version, trouble is relatively low airspeed for that purpose, but cheap to run, relatively cheap to buy(around USD$1.5m or so brand new), can strip the seats out and use it for non pax revenue also. It is FAA certed and for IFR, not sure about into known ice(can't recall whetehr they got it or not).

    Cheers
    John

I have the good fortune of seeing a 750 almost every time I fly. The local skydiving operation uses one for their jump plane. The owner told me that ATC had absolutely no idea what he was when he flew the thing home (Virginia) from California. Not many zipping around in the states. Brilliant airplane!

Two more links, the second is the best but seems to not be working, should do soon. Just shows the amazing performance of this bird.

How does this thing compare in size and performance to a Cessna Caravan?

Depends what mission you use it for. You really have to look at a total operating cost per kg per nautical mile where it is great in comparison. In terms of flight performance generally kicks arse except for speed which it is slower. But that is why it has a higher lift wing, can take off on a dime, plus has undercarriage that can take anything. There have been flight reviews that you can search. I have flown in it but haven't personally flown it. Was going to but sort of moved on.
