Hello everyone. I just took delivery of 308GT4 s/n 10420 that was discussed here: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=222046 Apologies to Choptop. I had just sold my '69 911 track car (thereby opening garage space) when I resumed my search for a suitable 308GT4 and saw it on eBay available in Danville (I live in SF). Spoke to the owner Roy and thought I'd look at it that night and if it checks out I would have to buy it. Long story short-- I looked it was beautiful, I asked Roy if I could borrow his computer and hit "Buy it Now". Prior to this, I've owned old Porsches and was looking for something I could vintage rally and also indoctrinate my daughters into the love of sportscars. Mid-engine, 4 seats, pop-up headlights (the kids are 5 & 3 and love that) and a look I happen to like, the 308GT4 fits perfectly. Drove it home yesterday, took my oldest to a bowling birthday party-- she likes it. And so do I-- the induction sound of the engine is fantastic. Look forward to meeting you all. Hi Armando, There is a huge number of afficianados here , some concour, some highly technical, many spirited drivers.
