I figure that this is the only way to get you to come to Alaska. Finished the room up today. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I would have to sell everything to pay the adoption fees. I don't think we can get all of the FChat members in there. But I could probably fit 100% of the Alaska FChat members...
Actually a "swamp cooler" and it was 80 degrees a lot this year (that's 24 hours a day). Besides if you come over for a drink, I want you to feel like you are in Alaska. Keep it around 40 degrees for guests.
Italian of course. Give me a few weeks and I will have you over. My neighbors will faint when they see TWO Ferraris at the house.
Mule you gotta be in Anchorage or Juno those are the only two towns that have roads you can drive an F-car on. I lived in FurBalls (fairbanks) for many years and we had pot holes bigger that a 360. The Denali highway south of Fbks was so rough due to frost heave I tore the rolling gear out of my F260 4x4. Hell for that matter I use to scud run to and from A-town by followiing the highway and many a time I had to go into the clouds 'caus the frost heaves were high enough to knock the gear off the S-Cub. Does the heater work at 20 below? Where do your sled dogs ride? How many Kings can you carry in the trunk An old sourdough wants to know!
Jim, Good words. I am in Anchorage, and drive down to Seward every now and then. The highway is very smooth right now. The way this fishing season went (the kings were big), only one in the trunk with the tail hanging out. And he is cooked by the time I get home.
Mule, Hey that cooking a King in the trunk sounds good if you have a big roll of tin foil!!! Have you been through the new (to me) tunnel with yet? That'll be a trip. Well watch out for Moose I don't think you want to replace that black poney with a brown Moose. Aloha Jim
Mule, have you bothered counting them to find out just how many you actually have...? i'm astounded... Seriously, i'm pretty lost for words... That's amazing... You know, after reading this thread, this is the first time i've EVER seriously considering going to Alaska...
I decided to only put my favorites out this time (no slot car track either), so it is less cluttered. I have about 1100 counting all (all scales/all brands, including Hot Wheels/Matchbox). Probably around 600-700 are Ferrari, around 300 F1 and LeMans, and the rest are just a mix. And 400 planes. In a year or so, I will probably sell the rest on Ebay. I think this is the right amount.
Sell the rest...? Dude, knock down a wall or two, turn part of the house into a private museum and charge people admission...
Needs the official FerrariChat poster. PM me your address and I'll send one slow boat N/C. DM Image Unavailable, Please Login
