    A while back there were some posts with blank "invoice" forms that someone was using to document the DIY work they were doing on their car. I can't seem to locate it through a search. Can someone re-post?

    I make handwritten notes. When I remember to. But they're really only for myself so I can remember when I last changed the oil, did the belt, etc. I can barely remember to go to the bathroom, much less the last time I did the belt service....was it last year or y2k?

    I have a spreadsheet that tracks all records. Scan the receipts and link to them form the excel sheet. Date & mileage based.

    Heck I just did a tread depth check on all my cars to see how the summer treated them. Fun to compare the details over time.

    Keeping any type of record helps in resale...but really helps in maintaining the car.
