Anyone have trouble pairing a iPhone 6+ in their FF? My iPhone 5 worked great.

Same here. No issues at all. Connects in exactly the same way as my iPhone 5 did.

I paired my iPhone 6 plus in both Ferrari (458 Spider and FF) with no problem...

Thanks guys. I just paired my 6+ with my California, no problem. I will try to delete all previous paired phones from the FF and try again.

Also try resetting the iPhone- this sometimes solves problems. My iPhone 6+ pares fine with cars. Good idea to remove previously paired phones from the car.

I wasn't able to pair my iphone6 with any of my F-cars...

I deleted the Bluetooth profiles and used the screen-based entry (it finally worked)

At no point was I able to pair the phone successfully using the voice commands.

I wonder if the success rate varies based on the year of the FF

I have been using the voice based entry. Now I have to figure out how to get into screen based setup. I looked for that yesterday and could not find it.

My 2014 FF took several tries to get it to pair to my iPhone 6. However my 458 paired first time without any issue.

Thanks Jnmit for the suggestion to use the screen based mode, figured out how to use the manual mode to program the Bluetooth rather than the voice method. Looking in the menu I was looking for the word phone but it is listed as Pairing. I manually paired it and all is well. One more time FerrariChat works the way it should, Ferrari owners giving great help and ideas to other and potential Ferrari owners. :)

My FF does connect but then sometimes the systems freezes and you need to shut down the car for minutes to bring it up again. Service updated the software already twice and tomorrow the car goes to dealer service again. Very frustrating.

I have an iPhone 6, my wife has a 5

We got our 15 FF a few weeks back, her phone instantly paired, mine proved to take a few attempts, though I used the on-screen pairing which was easy.

On a new Cayenne, my wife's phone again instantly paired and worked fine; my 6 again took a few attempts but then proved not to completely work.

Discovered there is a relatively well documented (but not publicized) set of glitches that seem to focus on the 6/6s with iOS 8.x+. There have been some iOS patches, but in my case, the apparent fix was to reset all my iPhone settings. (Actually read up on this on Rennlist as I suspected it was a Porsche-specific)

Good news, this instantly fixed the connection, and it's been solid ever since. Bad news, I have to re-pair the phone with all of our cars and go in and spend 20mins re-setting the settings to my liking.

In practice, in the FF we tend to plug the phones in and use Carplay. And, YMMV, anyone who complains about the 458 or FF infotainment...well, our new PCM in the Porsche is more complex and onerous IMHO.
