I didn't watch the whole 13+ minutes, but I have a BB and the HTC and have played with a few iphones. I have to say the HTC or the iphone would be my choice. I use my BB for work and I like the keyboard, but I can't hardly believe how small the screen is since getting the HTC. I've said it before, but the HTC is quite possibly the most logical interface I've seen. I can find anything I want and I've only had the phone a few months. I've had the BB for a long time and I still have a hard time navigating around and finding things like settings. Oh, and the live wallpapers on the HTC are too cool too!!
I agree, John. I just moved from the original Moto Droid to the HTC TBolt and love it. I have limited experience with bb's but have never liked their interface or layout. As for the iPhone I hate the fact you can't have the screen free of widgets/apps.
I recently bought a Palm Pre Plus to try out and see if I'll be getting the HP Pre 3 or waiting for the iPhone 5. I have to say, webOS is an amazing operating system, and probably the easiest and most pleasurable to use of all the phone OSs. However, I'll probably be waiting for the iPhone, mostly due to developer support.
Blackberry is my choice. It is a great business phone. The easy access keyboard, BBM with clients, friends, and business partners. You can send files, video, pictures for free and fast. Instant email notification with which ever many account you may have. On the go browsing is very user friendly.
Totally disagree. I hated my BB. Worst email client, worst browser too. Many say the BB will be a dead item in a few years, I agree. iOS and Android are FAR better.
I loved my BB Curve (5320). I have an HTC MyTouch 4G (T-mobile). It's better display-wise and for entertainment, but I really don't care about those two. I still prefer keyboard and trackball vs. touchscreen and think texting and emailing is MUCH easier on the BB. I still haven't figured out how to copy and paste stuff in the HTC, but it's very simple in the BB...I can copy to clipboard, but no idea how to paste. It's a pita to highlight the text you want anyway without a trackball like the BB. Oh well, BB will be out of business soon anyway.
On the HTC all you have to do is hold over what youwant to copy, highlight, and the option to copy will pop up. Then goto where you want to paste. Press and hold the screen and the paste option should pop up. Very easy.
For me, obviously I have all 3 phones. I decided to sell my HTC, keep my iPhone 4(for games/music) and I upgraded my Blackberry Bold 9780 to the Torch. I've had almost every Blackberry phone since 2005 and for peer functionality, the Blackberry is the winner hands down for me.
Important clarification. Iphone and blackberry are both manufacturers and operating system developers... HTC is just a handset manufaturer, most if not all of them run Android operating system. So its slightly incorrect to compare navigation functionalities of "iphone & blackberry", with "HTC", unless you are speaking of the hardware aspects... When talking about software, more accurate to compare iphone & blackberry to all phones running Android, which includes but isnt limited to HTC phones.
I've had a couple of different smart phones. iPhone hands down...even as a business phone. And I say this as someone who didn't want to like the iPhone. But I use it much more often than my BB, HTC, or any other phone I've had over the years...I use it more because its fun and simple to use. I also do some mobile BI app development and it displays things the best.
I bought the Desire HD earlier in the year and it's an incredible phone. When my contract runs out in 2 years the iphone that is out at the time... What ever it is is going to have to be unbelievable for me to not buy another HTC.
